After doing some research in McDonalds, a backpackers best friend with its free wifi, we started walking along the road. We were at Christchurch airport and had to get to Fairlie, a town 2,5 hours drive south west. Our transport method of the day: hitchhiking.

During our 5 month trip through New Zealand we shot a lot of time-lapses on different locations. Places we found stunning, amazing or simply jaw dropping gorgeous! We could have spent much more time doing this as New Zealand is a place where you come across those kind of places all the time!

Being a young traveler in New Zealand means being put in the little box “Backpacker”.
Which seems to basically stand for someone who can do the worst jobs for the least amount of money. Or no money at all preferably. Backpackers work their ass off for a dorm bed and half priced internet. Maybe, if you are lucky, you even get some toast and jam!
